De-stress at work in five minutes or less

Breathing deeply for just five minutes a day reduces stress and you can do it right at the office! Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Bend your knees at a 90 degree angle. Sit tall with your head directly over the base of your spine and your palms face up on your thighs. Now, close your eyes. Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale through your mouth as you pull your stomach in. Count to four as you inhale in and count to four as you exhale out. Feel your face, neck and shoulders relax. Release all the tension there. Feel the tension leaving your body. Repeat slowly for five minutes. Do this ever day and it will not only decrease your stress, it will energize you and make you more productive, as well!
